The PG Mutual National Championships are displaying the best 32 players in the country, including Olympians, Paralympians and Commonwealth champions at the Copper Box Arena at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London on Saturday 3rd March and Sunday 4th March and being shown on BBC Sport TV or streamed at BBC Sport Live. Revolution TTC Summer Camp

Top international coach Eli Baraty leads the Revolution TTC summer training camp at Lincroft School, Oakley, Bedford between 7th-11th August 2017. Eli will be supported by other coaches and practice partners including top French defender, Gregoire Rigole, and UKCC Level 2 coach John Alsop. Revolution Teams Progress to Smith Cup & Plate Finals

Revolution A and E teams raised their games to secure a place each in the Smith Cup and Plate finals to be held at Elstow TTC on Monday 24th April. The E team consisting of Joe Peckham, Alex Gubler and Harrison Emery beat the Bedford League Division Three winners Kempston A by 24 points. Going into their last match 30 points ahead, after a 111 points starting advantage, it was left up to eleven year old Harrison requiring 15 points against Beds Cadet No. 3 Ollie Horswell to secure the overall team win. Congratulations Sara – England No. 1

Sara Williams Eastern Masters Featured

March 2017 proved a defining moment for Revolution TTC’s regular attendee Sara Williams and vindicated the many hour’s of practice she has put in at the club. After finishing runner-up in the women’s singles in the VETTS Midland Masters tournament and going one better in winning both the VETTS Eastern Masters and VETTS Southern Masters tournaments she was crowned England No. 1 veteran lady. Her next tournament will be the VETTS Western Masters at Bristol on 22/23 April where hopefully she will maintain her winning form.

Bedford Ping England Stars

For the first time in over forty years Bedford has attracted two of England’s top table tennis players to provide an exhibition of world class table tennis on Monday 20th February from 5.00-7.00pm at Lincroft School, Oakley. Happy New Year Everyone

The club is not open during the first week in January as the school is closed for the Christmas holidays. The club re-opens on Monday 9th January as usual. Junior sessions operate from 6.00pm-7.30pm and club practice sessions for juniors and adults from 7.30pm-10.30pm.

Congratulations Barbara

On Monday 14th November 2016, Barbara Wright was presented by the club chairman with the Club Volunteer of the Year Award, kindly donated by Table Tennis England. Barbara is well known to all members and non-members at the club as most nights she is the “meet and greet” officer and ensures everyone is registered in the visitor book and has paid their fees. read more …
