The club is open as normal on Monday 14th October with the junior club commencing at 6.00pm. There is an adult session from 7.30pm-10.30pm.

Open Tournament Results
On Monday 29th April 2024, twenty one participants took part in the Open Tournament and after some hard battles in the group stages the Main competition was won by Tom Nowakovski defeating John Alsop 5-11, 11-6, 9-11, 23-21, 11-5 in the final. The fourth game was an epic battle where Alsop lead for most of the game but Nowakovski pulled out all the stops to level at deuce and then finally, after Alsop had several match points, Nowakovski took the final two points to force a fifth end. The Plate competition was won by Alan Calzari defeating Esteban Bernasconi 11-8, 11-3, 11-9 in the final. Joe Ounremi Funeral Details
For those that knew him, Joe Ogunremi’s funeral details are as follows: 11:00 am on Thursday 16th May at All Saints Church, Kempston followed by burial at 12:00 at Kempston Cemetery.
Open Tournament – Entries Now Closed
There has been a massive interest in Monday’s Open Tournament and the entry list is now full. If you wish to be added to a waiting list then just message John at 07921 093199. There will be 24 players competing across 6 groups of four players. The top two players in each group go forward into the Main knockout competition and the bottom two players proceed into the Plate knockout competition.
Open Tournament – Monday 29th April
Revolution Table Tennis Club are holding an open tournament this forthcoming Monday 29th April at Lincroft Academy, Station Road, Oakley MK43 7RE from 7.30pm. Anyone is welcome to enter, the cost is £6 payable in cash on the evening, and the competition is limited to the first 24 players to enter. With round robin groups of four players, you will have three matches and then the top two will progress into the Main knockout competition and the bottom two into a Consolation knockout competition. Joe Ogunremi 1938 – 2024 RIP
It is with a sad heart that I report that Joe Ogunremi passed away recently at 85 years of age. For recent club members his name will not mean much but Joe has been associated with the club for nearly half a century! He originally started playing in the Bedford Table Tennis League for Bedford Table Tennis Club where afterwards he would pop into the Bedford Arms in Kempston where he would discuss sport and politics. He later joined Bedford Modern Table Tennis Club and over the subsequent years, he was Captain of many of the Modern teams, principally juniors, helping them achieve their goals. New Club Opening Times
The club will be open on the following dates before a break for exams: 25-03-24, 08-04-24, 15-04-24, 22-04-24, 29-04-24. There is no session on Bank Holiday Monday 01-04-24.
